We began our journey in our town centre studios back in 2007. We moved out in 2014 for the regeneration, and became a full charity in 2023! Back to ur old home, current students from almost every area of Artemis, now 600 students strong every week, will act, sing and dance their way into your heart at the Lexicon!
Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible.

Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar - A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin' friends as they escape from their home in New York's Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien's Madagascar.
Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends - Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo - have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape - with the help of some prodigious penguins - to explore the world.
Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. will leave audiences with no choice but to "Move It, Move It!"

Every year, all our theatre students from Artemis Studios Junior Theatre Company, Medusa Teen Theatre Company and Artemis College go to the panto! There are no additional charges to attend - it is part of the educationwe are providing.
The sessions run Tuesday 11th-Friday 14th April with drop off from 9.30am and collection 4.30pm daily (new longer sessions for 2023 to help parents who need to go to work).

Join us for this reprisal of a play written for Artemis in 2013 - which saw fan mail flutter in for the cast! This play with music features a high tech set with projection mapping to take you time travelling to war time London and back to the future again in a tale based on a true story!

This year our annual L.A.M.D.A exams in Musical Theatre and Acting will be held on Saturdays 9th and 16th December. This has been confirmed by L.A.M.D.A.
Our Junior and teenage theatre companies will be performing the musical in July 2017, at the Oakwood Theatre in Woodley.
Fab actor (and guest tutor) Ben Watson is appearing in 'I Capture the Castle' which is a brand new adaptation of the story in a musical. There is a national tour - and it comes to Oxford (OXFORD PLAYHOUSE) in May.
